Tammy, It is so cute!! I went to JoAnn's today, thanks for the heads-up. I got these following Simplicity patterns: 4703& 0506, for 2 of the girls, 4706 for me, 4527, for the younger girls room, 4597 & 4391, for purses and bags.
I'd love to know about your bag, was it easy? How long did it take you. The material is just too cute!
Oh, I love to sew, but somehow sewing for profit takes the "joy" out of sewing. At least, it does for me.
Lora, this bag was very simple! It went together so smoothly. I didn't have a problem with it at all. The bottom is an oval, so there is a little bit of clipping and stretching to make the bag part fit on the bottom part, but that wasn't hard (at least for me, anyhow).
Love the bag - it's so pretty!! I am really enjoying reading your blog - I am reading the the archives also.:) I have a blog over at homeschoolblogger - I've been bad about updating it though, I enjoy reading others more!:)http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/LittleHouseMommy/ ~Ruth

ReplyDeleteI know you say it takes the fun out of it doing it for profit, but it looks to me like it's time for you to open an Etsy shop!
