Tonight Kevin and I have spent a quiet evening at home. I made
Easy Swedish Apple Pie for dessert, with some apples that I got at a produce stand. It is SO good!
After dinner we played Backgammon and then Kevin got out a puzzle. I didn't realize we even had an unopened puzzle in the house. It had a coupon in it that expired in September of 2000, so we've had it around since we were newlyweds! We're done with it for today, we'll work on it more tomorrow!
We love to do puzzles at our house too - but we need to get back at it! We don't have a dining room table anymore where it can just sit until we get into it again, but winter will come and there is nothing like puzzling things out in front of a crackling fire! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice puzzle. I would like to see a picture of it when you get it finished too!
ReplyDeleteI took a look at that recipe, and it does look easy! I'll have to try it for my husband. Thanks.
Sara, I'll have to post a pic when the puzzle gets finished. We have trees left to do. Oooh, fun (LOL).
ReplyDeleteDo try the recipe, and let me know what you think! I tossed the apples with cinnamon and sugar, and added nutmeg to the crust. MMMM good!
