I have a Canon A630(similar to your choice), and I love it! You are going to have so much fun figuring out all those fun features. Can't wait to see some new photos. ;)
Oh boy, you will have fun with it. I needed a new digital camera with a better telephoto lens on it as mine has only 2 settings for the lens, regular & telephoto & it's not always close enough. We found one at a good deal believe it or not in the Kroger grocery store for 80 some $$$. SO Mike got it for me as a Christmas present & is letting me use it for events now & this fall. Come Christmas I have to give it back to him to wrap up for me to open up Christmas Eve for taking pics then. I can do so much more with it than my old one, so my old one is gonna be a backup incase this one ever goes bad...
Congrats! I am envious and breaking one of the Ten Commandments by coveting...sigh. I really want a new camera, but I am drooling over the way-out-of-my-budget Nikon D80. I made the mistake of getting the expensive film version of this camera several years ago, but I never use it because it is, well, a film camera. When I bought it, the option most digital people chose was to print pictures at home. Since that time, everything has gone digital and it is very easy to find a place that processes digital photos cheaply and easily.
Anyway, congrats and I hope you LOVE your new camera! I cannot wait to see the pictures on your blog.
I'll be getting it Dec. 7-11th. :-) Can't wait to start taking decent pictures again! It is no fun to take pictures with a camera which doesn't focus!!!
Rebecca, we do not get Consumer Reports, but one of the guys at Kevin's work has it.
Hi Tammy, I just love your apron works! I think your Etsy shop is really neat. I hope the Canon works out, and the Dell price is really good! I am wondering if it takes good close up detailed pictures for flowers, etc. Please let me know it works out!
I have that exact camera. Love it. My last camera died (well daughter dropped it) but it was about 7 years of age. This one is super nice. Easy to operate. Hope you enjoy it.
Tammy ~ I have a Canon Digi-Rebel and am thinking about giving it to my daughter and getting something a little more compact and easier for an old brain to use. I favorited your link and will check it out. I'm sure you will absolutely love it! I love Canon.
And, we all can't wait to see the onslaught of pictures that will come along with the new camera! :)
