~Perfume~

After my Fiestaware purchase, I still had some birthday money left. About 6 years ago, a friend gave me a small bottle of perfume that was partially used. She liked it, but her husband didn't care for it that much. I really liked it, and my husband did too. :-) Since I only wear a small amount of perfume and usually only on Sundays, the bottle lasted quite a while. I still have a little left, but not much. So I used the rest of my money to make my purchase. The perfume is Halston by Halston. Here's the description from The Perfume Spot (image source as well):
Launched by the design house of Halston in 1975, HALSTON is classified as a refreshing, woody, mossy fragrance. This feminine scent possesses a blend of woody, amber, rose and various fruity notes.

What is your favorite perfume?

  1. I used Halston my senior year of high school. I loved it at first, but after a while I didn't like it anymore - I don't know what happened! LOL

Now I love Very Irresistible by Givenchy. It's my "Sunday and special occasions" fragrance. My everyday fragrance is Japanese Cherry Blossom body spray by Bath & Body Works. I have to wear some kind of fragrance every day! ;)

  2. I used to LOVE fragrance but have unfortunately developed allergies to scents and can't wear them any more. Although Aromatics Elixir by Clinique is one I can wear a small amount of as long as I don't wear it any where near my face.

I appreciate reading that you only wear a small bit because there are times when people sit near me in church wearing perfume and though they smell nice it is really hard on me. I've even had to get up and move a few times. I try to not be obnoxious about it but having your eyes twitch and itch and your throat feel itchy is no fun.

Wishing you and yours a *lovely* Thanksgiving! (o:

    Blessings,

  3. Hi Tammy,
I used to wear a variety of perfumes. Now that I'am older I've gotten very fussy with scents. They are usually to strong or spicy for me.
Now, I found one I just love. It's Lovely from Sarah Jessica Parker.
I find it to be a light feminine scent. It's the only one I use.

    Happy Thanksgiving,
    Irene
