I am fascinated by photography and paintings that depict the hands in motion, perhaps that is why I am so enamored with the painting in my blog header! It is quite an interesting study to see the different positions of my fingers in action!
Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

~Joining the Ripple Crowd~
A friend and I met today at a yarn shop, and we spent three delicious hours in the store. Gorgeous yarn, decisions, and talking...what a pleasant morning!
I came home with Rowan 100% wool DK to make a ripple afghan!

I am so very happy with the colors, and can't wait to see it worked up! I'll be using the pattern "Soft Waves" from 200 Ripple Stitch Patterns by Jan Eaton. Since the book doesn't give any indication at all of how much yarn to purchase, I don't know if the 11 skeins I've purchased will be sufficient. (I bought two additional skeins in duplicate colors.)
