Hello, hello! It has been a while since I have popped on to say anything at all. Life is busy with a baby! Busy, but wonderful, of course. :-) My darling daughter is almost one month old now. We are enjoying life with our daughter very much!

I am so sleep deprived, sometimes I can't even talk in full sentences, much less try to maintain a blog! So I've decided to say "good bye" for now. I don't know how long my blog break will be, but I do plan on coming back after a while. Maybe when my baby starts sleeping through the night? We'll see.

So, good bye! and thank you for being sweet blog readers! I've thoroughly enjoyed blogging because of the people who comment on my blog! Thank you!

Oh, I so understand! And I am so glad you aren't planning to leave for good. :) Hopefully keeping you in my reader will let me know when you are back.

Enjoy your sweet baby and this special time. The sleep deprivation won't last forever (although it FEELS like it does!)

Goodbye for now, bloggy friend!

There is a reason sleep deprivation is a torture tool. I found it THE most difficult part of having a baby, bar none. Caroline did not sleep through the night until five months and the first time it happened, I felt like literally a different person that morning.

Now (two years later) when she has an off night (like last week) and I don't get enough sleep I say to David, "This is why we didn't get anything done the first year!" We were walking zombies.

It does get better, but it is very hard. Hang in there!

I will miss your entries, but I understand totally. My second baby did not let me get rest for quite some time......I know all about the sleep deprivation. Take care of yourself when you can and enjoy every moment with your precious little one! She will grow all too quickly!

Hi Tammy--can understand the need to take a break..I have 4 girls not that they're babies anymore but I do remember the days of sleep deprivation! I'll miss reading your blog...I've been following for a long time..must be around a year. I haven't commented alot mmostly because I read from bloglines...and the other reason is those 4 girls!! They keep you up at night when they're babies and now I have to 'keep up' with things around the house and with the girls..not in the middle of the night anymore but ..yeah I think you get the picture...I don't often comment anymore..too many blogs to comment on!!
Well enjoy your sweet baby girl..look forward to seeing you back once you've had a break for awhile. take care~Heather

Oh Tammy! I so understand. Our little Megan was born on March 30th and today is my first time to sit down at the computer for an hour and try to catch up on some emails. I'm just about to head back upstairs for my late night nap because in about 1 hour the marathon, through-the-night feeding will begin!

Rest sweet Mama! I still remember how very hard the lack of sleep hit me with my first baby. Many blessings to you and Kevin and your sweet baby girl.

Hi Tammy!!
This is a totally unrelated comment, but I just HAD to let you know. I just got my very first copy of Betsy-Tacy! You spoke of the books so fondly, so I cannot wait to read it!
