Outside My Window...
A sunshiny, gorgeous day!
I am thinking...
about the new apron theme at Tie One On. This time around it is gingham! Oooh, I love gingham, I'll be sure to participate!
I am thankful for...
So many things! My salvation and His mercies that are new each morning!
From the kitchen...
Oh dear, a stack of dishes awaiting my attention! I'm not sure what is for dinner either...last week wasn't a very organized kitchen week.
I am wearing...
A navy polo shirt with an aqua skirt with navy polka-dots...love those polka-dots!
I am creating...
A knitted scarf. It seems to be going so well! I'll show pictures on Wednesday.
I am going...
crazy, want to come?
Just kidding. My husband says that all the time though, and I just couldn't resist. I think this afternoon is pretty clear, I can't think of any place I'll be going.
I am reading...
What Katy Did at School
I am hoping...
That this beautiful weather stays around for a while!
I am hearing...
Nothing much. The hum of the computer.
Around the house...
Dishes and laundry. Those two things never cease, do they? =)
One of my favorite things...
Old children's literature!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
Let's see, it seems to be a shaping up to be a very busy week, though today is calm! Errands on Tuesday, and other appointments throughout the week that will keep me going!
Here is picture thought I am sharing...

I like your embroidery, clever idea. During the Spring and Summer, I like to knit, too. Not so much during the winter though.
I enjoyed reading your daybook. I like your aprons.
Mama Bear
The other day I ran across a demo of Chicken Scratch embroidery on gingham...now if I could just sew...LOL!
Enjoy your day!☺
You do such a lovely job with all your handiwork! :)
I don't care if they're gingham, I just love aprons.
I am late signing the linky for the daybook but I have done it now.
So many things I like about this post! I'm always excited to find fellow knitters, especially those who enjoy aprons as well :-) I just joined Apronista yesterday & visited the Tie One On site- I also love gingham, so I'm going to try my hand at the challenge.
I am reading Cranford, after seeing it on PBS & finding a copy on my bookshelf (I still don't remember buying it!) & I'd be interested to read "What Katy Did"- I'll have to look for it on Paperback Swap.
Very cute idea with the flour sack towels (another of my kitchen must-haves)
Lastly- have anniversary :-)
Love the towel...I love the website where you got the pattern. : ) A few months ago she offered little wooden dolls and I ordered the kit. I've yet to make them, but when I get to them it will be a fun project.
Oops~ I meant to say "Happy Anniversary"
Apronista is a community forum devoted to apron love; the blog is listed on my "Fences I like to Peek Over", but the website is by invite only. If youare interested, let me know & I'll send you an invitation.
