Just a few odds and ends...
Trixie posted a recipe for the recipe swap, and I just now added it to my soup links. Scroll down for the link. It sounds delicious!

I enjoyed reading all the answers for my question post. The question was: "What is it that makes a blog, any blog, interesting to you?"
My answers are similar to many given: I enjoy reading about every day life, pictures of crafts, and pictures with posts. I like to see a variety in blogs, and I greatly dislike a negative tone that is present post after post! I just enjoy "meeting" ladies through their blogs, and getting a glimpse into their lives!

I've been knitting like crazy tonight, and last night too. I joined a sock knitting group called Socktoberfest, and I want to get my socks finished! I'm on the heel of the second sock, so good progress is being made! I haven't even begun to look at all the sock pictures posted. There are just so many pictures! So much inspiration for sock knitters! So let's see...I have two more days to get my sock finished. I think it can be done!

This week, our church is having revival meetings. I'm looking forward to God speaking to my heart through the preaching and music.

Have a great week!

I am a dyed-in-the-wool crocheter, and I sew a bit, but one of these days I am going to HAVE to learn how to knit!
Oh dear. I have QUITE a bit of catching up to do here. :l
I'm looking forward to sitting down this evening and reading your posts. I feel like I've missed so much. LOL

Enjoy the revival meetings. As hectic as it gets during the week, it's so worth it when you hear good preaching and music. : )
Birdie, knitting is fun! =) I love to crochet too, but I haven't crocheted much at all since I started knitting.
Kristi! :-) I don't think you've missed that much!
Mishel, we're enjoying the meetings very much! It IS worth it!
