I live in Lansing too. Yesterday we had a good bit, but it didn't really stick to the pavement, but it sure did stick to everything else! We don't usually have snow this early.
We had snow this early one year in South Dakota. I couldn't believe it either! We're still sunny and crisp here, but that's supposed to change tomorrow - rain is coming.

I'm going to have to call up my sister-in-law and tease her (they live in the Lansing area). She'll wonder how I know they got snow already! ;o)
Good thing you finished your hat!

Take care,

I hope this doesn't mean you're in for a long winter! Hopefully it will warm up for a bit.

I can't believe you're already getting snow. We're still running the A/C here. LOL

We had snow too! not enough to stick, luckily.
It wasn't uncommon for us to receive our first snow in October. (living in Maine)
We now live in California and no, I don't miss the snow and ice.
