I know this subject has been brought up before, on my blog, and on other blogs I visit, but what is it that motivates you to read a blog?
I'm not fishing around for compliments here, as in: why do you read my blog? What is it that makes a blog, any blog, interesting to you?

Actually, I just found your blog today! I got the link from Like Merchant Ships and loved the colors and photos.
I like a blog where the blogger shares little bits of their life. I also like household hints and recipes and neat pictures.
I also like interaction. I like blogs where the blogger responds to comments because you always wonder....do they even read what I say? (o;
I am visual..so I like a picture. I enjoy reading about what others are doing, creating, reading...
I have a method. First I look to make sure the woman is a conservative christain and keeper of home. Then I look to see how up-to-date her blog is. I like blogs with bright, pretty colors and losts of pictures.
I'm with Mrs B, I love interaction. I enjoy blogs that share the heart of the blogger, their inspirations, that share bits of their life and homemaking posts. I only really read Christian ladies blogs. I really enjoy your blog Tammy :o) Your paint colours in your other post look great to me. I love colours.
I like blogs with lots of daily info surrounding one's life. It is educating to see how others live/react to situations. I especially look for blogs of mothers and/or creative/artistic/thinking people.
I can agree with what everyone else said! Pictures, project, home life etc... and add humor, I like reading things that make me laugh.
I can also add what I do not like is negative whiny blogs, that will turn me away real quick.
I like to read about the every day things ladies are doing to keep their homes and minister to their families. I enjoy reading what the Lord is doing in their lives...and I like pictures. : )
What I like to read is about the bloggers & their interests & families. Homelife, church life etc. I admit I'm not a good blogger as I don't post on mine as much as I should. I spend more time reading other folks blogs lol...
pictures! all the way! if a blog doesn't have any pictures, i rarely visit more than once. also, reasonable size posts... if there are posts that are all the way down the page, i most likely won't be able to take the time to read through the whole thing.

I like reading about the daily lives of good, Christian folks and pictures........I LOVE pictures!!!!! Variety is also a big plus!
