I purchased some sale fabric from Sew, Mama, Sew!, and was excited when it came in the mail! I got two cuts for a play outfit and some voile for my daughter's Easter dress.
I started on the play outfit first, using Simplicity 7189, view D (minus the lace on the bottom of the shorts).
The shorts are cute - fitting more like culottes than shorts - and the top has lots of room for growth. I wasn't a fan of how they have the neckline finished, and some of the instructions weren't very clear. But otherwise, it was a pretty straightforward, fun sew.
I love blue and red together!

Hi tammy
So cute! Love the colors and the flowers. Wish I had a summer dress in that material!
Keep on sewing
Irene p.s. your daughter is a lucky little girl to wear beautiful hand sewn outfits made from a very talented mama!
This is so cute! Reminds me of the outfits i made my girls in 70's.
Tammy this DARLING!! I have this obsession lately with red/blue and I am doing the girls new room in these colors. Love those polkadots too!! You did good. :)
PS: sorry about that comment on the little girl driving as coming from Eric...he was signed in on my computer and I just realized it :)
