The tulips are just gorgeous here! I'm wishing that I had planted tulips last year, and I know that I'm going to plant some this next fall!
A few weeks ago, Kevin gave me some potted tulips. They were so pretty! I just don't know what to do to keep them so they can be planted next fall...or should I plant them now? Anyone a tulip expert? =)
The picture above is what they looked like in full bloom.

The tulips are all in bloom here, and they are gorgeous. They're quickly becoming one of my favorites!
Tammy, I'm not 100% sure about forced bulbs like this one, but typically you pull them out and then re-plant them in the fall. I'm guessing you can do that with these...just a guess.
I second Rebecca's motion. Let the leaves turn brown so the bulb can reabsorb the nutrients, then plant them out in the fall. They may not bloom right the first year but they should come out ok in the end. I have a few tulip clusters that were given to me in pots that I've managed to get set out into the planter barrels and beds.
Ok, so should I leave them in the pot? Or take them out? If I leave them in the pot, do I continue to water them?
