Amy shared this link for making a light box on her blog a while back, and I was intrigued with the idea.
Here are a few pictures I took tonight:
The lighting isn't "just right" but I still had fun with it.
Here is the light box I "made":

Oh my! This looks so amazing! What are lamp clips (I think that is what they were called) though? Are those just lying around your house or did you purchase them?
I've been wanting to try the light box DIY for a while. (Must remember to ask H to bring box from work.)The tutorial I saw, though, seems to be a bit different.
Good stuff Tammy! I found we had to fiddle a bit with the placement of the lights, as well as setting on my digital camera. I haven't used mine much lately since I haven't been doing much in the way of sewing/crafting.
I love the lightbox! It's a great idea. We almost tried it last night with a spider we had...but I don't think he would have posed for us without running away. We definately didn't want that! I can't wait to try it though. Are those the kind of clip lights like you put on a bed?
Lula--I had one lamp clip, had to buy another one (for about $7). Mishel, I have a Canon PowerShot A410, which my husband gave me for my birthday last year. I love it! Mrs. HH--thanks for the link. That one looks interesting. I think they both pretty much accomplish the same thing--something for the light to diffuse through so that the light isn't directly shining on the object.
Photography is such a fun thing to experiment with!

And how did I finally get to post? Did you change over to beta or rig it up somehow? :-)
Lula
Very cool! What type of camera do you use? I really enjoy the pictures you post.
