Those are nice pics. You are really doing a good job on that afghan! My grandma could make ones like that but I could never get the hang of it. I am doing several crocheting projects but am still in the middle of them lol. I started an afghan over 30 yrs ago & never got it finished lol. You oughta give lessons on how to crochet like that. I would love to learn how to do a zig zag afghan like that... :)

I have done many crocheted ripple afghans, but the modern variety that is popping up in blogland are so much more interesting. I love the wide variety of colors that everyone seems to be using. I cannot wait to see what it looks like when it is finished!

those are really pretty colours... don't you just love to crochet?! I crocheted an afghan like that one except I did it all in one colour. I couldn't believe how simple it was. I bought the wool and the pattern was free and looked interesting so I tried it. I also had a friend that answered the odd question. I have now finished two afghans... which is quite surprising coming from me...I very regularly don't finish big projects like that...but I enjoyed it so much it was really hard to put down. I've been thinking it's been a couple of years now.... time to start another one! You've inspired me to get going on it.

PS
I meant to say that this afghan was my first crochet project.
