~Canning streak~

Well. I did it. I broke my streak for this summer.

My 147th jar of canned goods did not seal.

We'll enjoy my un-canned grean beans for dinner tonight. :D

nummy...green beans. :) I intend to grow those too next year. I think we agreed on tomatoes, green peans, peas, and cucumbers. And maybe potatoes. we've decided to just do it in our backyard, so it'll be small. :)

Sounds good! :) Cucumbers for eating or pickling?

We talked to someone who planted potatoes this year. She said she got about 15-20 potatoes (not pounds, potatoes) from the four plants they did. From what I saw, they took up a lot of space. But fresh-from-the-ground potatoes sure would be good.

just for eating. John loves 'em. I know you can get a bunch so I don't want to plant too many. :)

I love them too, Kevin, however does not. :)

Lol, I read your title of this post as "Canning Steak" and wondered why in the world would you can steak, and why 147 jars of it?! :)

Nice job! I hate when jars don't seal and you had quite a few seal.
