Blue Ink or Black?

I don't know why, but when I write, I prefer blue ink over black ink. It seems like a funny preference, but black ink just doesn't seem to write as well! ;-) I don't really like to write with a pencil either. Not even a mechanical pencil. Oh, and I don't like gel ink. The gel ink tends to make my writing sloppy.

Handwriting? If I concentrate and take my time, I have good handwriting. Notice, I said if I take my time. If I don't take my time, my handwriting is still readable, but not very neat. I typically write in cursive, though sometimes I print. It just depends on what I am writing. My legal signature combines both printing and cursive: the first letters of my first and last name are printed, the rest is in cursive.

I usually use a blue pen, and prefer cursive :-)

blue, blue, blue, mostly definitely blue. Medium point. And I love pencils too. not the .05 mechanical pencil, but the .07. yeppers. and then certain leads in certain other pencils. sometimes they are great...sometimes...they are too light. I know...I'm weird.

I like to use black pens fine point. Medium point makes my writing look worse. I use .07 mechanical pencils when I have to use pencil.

Blue ink always looks smoother. I have the same preference..but uniball has these liquid fine point..not roller ball pens that are really pretty..kind of smeary though if your not careful. BLUE ink is best.

Mechanical pencils, definitely, mechanical pencils. .5 or .7 I don't care which I use. All I care about is that I can erase if I make a mistake.

I prefer blue because it can't be reproduced as easily as black can. (i.e. photocopied.) Blue is prefered in legal documents, and there are even some contests that REQUIRE you enter in blue ink so they know you didn't mechanically reproduce your entires. Used to be it was difficult to find a blue ink pen in the house, but now it's harder to find a black ink one.

pencils!!! must have pencils, and they must be sharp. I even got a new electric pencil sharpener for Christmas because I wore out my old one.

pencils are so forgiving! And I like the old-fashioned #2 kind rather than the mechanical ones. Preferably a natural wood color, not painted yellow.

If I must use pen, then it's usually whatever I can find. I like the blue of the papermate pens.

(now I'm waiting for someone to come up with a meme for "what kind of pen are you?")
