~Happy Tuesday~

Hello! I have much to do today! Is your Tuesday just as busy?

Yesterday I discovered that I hadn't turned the calendar from July to August yet. Talk about being out of touch!

Today I have several errands, including grocery shopping, to do. Am I the only one who does not like to go grocery shopping? Well, I know I'm not the only one, because I have a friend who will commiserate with me about grocery shopping! *Smiles* I have to find that perfect time of day to go. I think that has something to do with my dislike. For the last year plus, I've been going on Saturdays, and let me tell you, that is no picnic in the park! All the sales items have been whisked off the shelves, and the store is jam-packed with everyone doing their weekly shopping. For Saturday shopping, I found the best time to go was actually dinner time! (I'm sure early morning would have bee a good option too, but I was usually sleeping in!)

Besides the grocery shopping, I'll be working around the house today. Just little things, no huge projects.

The sun is shining in my little corner of the world, I hope it is for you too! Have a blessed day!

I came over from Mrs. Wilt's blog. And I have to say I am so glad I did! I just love your blog! I will definitely be visiting more often. :) Off to see your esty store! I have an acronym on my blog SHOPPE (Stewards Helping Other Proverbs31 Entrepreneurs). If you want, just pop by my blog ask to be added! :)

Oh, I hate grocery shopping too! The best day as far as the shopping environment is concerned is Thursday, but that's our church night here, and for some reason I've always avoided doing anything out of the house on church nights. But I don't like any of the other times to shop, so I think I'll just go early on Thursday morning, which will give me plenty of time to get other things done. Have a good day!

During the school year it is best to go around 2:30pm, since everyone is gone picking up their children...hehe!!

I prefer to go when they first open, then the only problem is that they only have one checker on! Can't win, eh? hehe I only really *enjoy* shopping when it is at a country market/farm. However, we live in the city so that doesn't happen regularly!

wow, I definitely HATE grocery shopping too.....kinda funny, b/c I loved going with my mom as a kid. Things change when you start having to pay for all the food!

Anyways, I work night shift a lot (until 7am), so as soon as I get home, I'll shower and then head to the store when it opens at 8. No one in my way! I went yesterday, and I was so pleased with only having to spend $90 for two and a half weeks worth of groceries.

I think the reason we all hate grocery shopping so much is that it is so repetitive and redundant. You take the items off the shelf and put them in your cart. You take your items out of the cart and put them on the conveyor. You take your items off the counter and place them in bags. You take your bags and put them in the cart. You take your cart outside. You put your bags in the car. When you get home, you take the bags in the house. Then you have to empty the bags and find places for everything! So, pretty much, it's a LOT of work! :)

Sorry for the insanely long comment, this is a pet subject of mine. :)

I love grocery shopping but ONLY WHEN THE STORE IS NOT CROWDED!! The best time for me is about 8 in the morning on a weekday. But, I haven't been there that early since we had Elizabeth. So, I just go mid-afternoon before school is out and before people get off work. I can't stand when it's crowded- people get pushy and lines get LOOOONG!!

I don't really care much for grocery shopping either. My husband doesn't mind doing it so I make a list and he usually does the shopping or we both go which has been how it's been lately. We got into this habit during our years with only one car and it just works well for us.

After all why should I lug around all of those heavy grocery bags when I have a big, strong, handsome husband who doesn't mind doing it for me?--Yep, I'm spoiled! (o;
