I am just so thrilled for Mrs. U and her family! They have recently adopted a baby girl from China. In honor of their new baby, I’m throwing a shower for her and everyone is welcome! This isn’t your typical baby shower though! It’s a bloggy baby shower!
First, let’s meet little Miss Elizabeth!
Isn’t she just precious? I love this picture of her!
Mrs. U shared the following specific requests:
***that the Lord would save Elizabeth at a young age (what a BLESSING that would be!!!!)
***that I will truly be a godly mother. I want to model Christ to Elizabeth, to the rest of my family, friends and whoever I come in contact with.
My prayer for little Elizabeth is that she will be a great blessing to her family. I pray that she will accept the Lord as her Savior at an early age, and that she will joyfully serve the Lord all her life.
And finally, it’s your turn!!! Let’s shower Elizabeth and the “U” family with our prayers and congratulations! Just leave a comment in this post!
And now, what would a shower be without some cake? There's plenty for everyone!
I thank the Lord for my friendship with Mrs. U. She is a very sweet friend!

The "U" family have been blessed with a beautiful child and they have my prayers.
I really hope the best for Mrs. U. and her family. With all my heart, I hope and pray for the best.
Congratulations to Mrs. U and her family-she is adorable! You'll be in my prayers!!
Congratulations Mrs. U! Your new daughter is just beautiful! May God bless you and your family with many blessed years ahead, and may Elizabeth accept Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age.
God has blessed Elizabeth with Godly, loving parents. It is my prayer that the Lord will give Mr. and Mrs. U wisdom and guidance as they seek to raise up a child fit for His use.
Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. U!
What a lovely idea Tammy!
I pray that Elizabeth comes to know Jesus at a young age and that she always seeks Him first in her life.
Blessings and Hugs!
I pray that the Lord will use Elizabeth greatly as she grows up and give her the favor of God and man!
Thank you, Tammy!! You are sooo sweet to do something like this!! And thank you, most of all, for praying for us and for asking for prayer requests!!!! You are the best!!!
And thank you for everyone for your very kind words and prayers!!! Isn't it wonderful that we can talk with the Creator of the Universe???!!!
I will pray for God to save Elizabeth and grow her into a godly young lady. I will pray for God to give her plenty of discernment to face this place(the World), so unlike Home. I will also pray for Mrs. U to be filled with plenty of patience, energy, Faith, and a consistent study in the Word.
What a sweet idea, Tammy!
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. U!!! Elizabeth is such a happy, beautiful baby!
What a precious blessing! I pray that this sweet little soul will know Christ, and seek His will for her life. Bless her with faith, and simple trust.
What a super idea!
What a pretty little thing she is:) I just love that mound of dark hair and enough cannot be said about those two little teeth peeking out!!
I pray that God fills Elizabeth with the same sense of faith, love, hope and determination to lift others out of dire straights as he did for Mrs. U to enable her to withstand and persevere in all the trials she has gone through in adopting little Elizabeth.
Praying that Elizabeth will become exactly the lady God planned her to be. May she have a soft heart towards Him and come to know Him as her Savior at an early age.
May she and the "U" family so become one that she never doubts that she belongs and may she always feel content and satisfied and fulfilled within her heart when it comes to her family. May she always know that she has the mom and dad that God meant for her to have.
Bless Mr. and Mrs. U as they parent their little Elizabeth. Help to guide and mold them to be more and more like the You, Father, in every way. Amen!
Blessings to whole "U" family as they welcome precious Elizabeth, blessing of God!
Congratulations on your 'Little One'.
Tammy, you're so sweet to throw this shower.
