This morning I went to the farmer's market for the first time. I will definitely be going back! There are so many stands! It's lovely to see all the fruit and vegetables piled on the tables! Mmmm...makes me want to eat lots of good-for-you-fresh produce! There was one stand that had nice produce, but the man taking care of the table was smoking right over the fruit and vegetables. *Cough, sputter, gasp!* I didn't buy anything from his table!
These are the vegetables that I purchased:
Now I'm off to do my laundry and housework, gardening and weeding, and hopefully a trip to the dump! Have a wonderful day!

Beautiful vegetables! Your green pepper from your own garden looks great too!
What gorgeous healthy looking veggies! Enjoy your trip to the dump, lol :o)
Your vegetables look delicious. I can't believe anyone would smoke right over the produce he was trying to sell. YUCK!!! There are so many nasty chemicals in cigarette smoke. Smoking is one of my biggest pet peeves. At least it has been banned inside public buildings here in Oregon, but there's nothing to stop someone from smoking as they're walking down the sidewalk in front of you. Also, I live in an upstairs apartment, and at least once a day the smell of cigarette smoke wafts in the windows. We actually have our front door taped shut because the hallway it opens into smells strongly of smoke. Cigarette smoke has always made me ill, and now that I am pregnant, I try even harder to avoid it. I wish that smoking would be completely banned, except maybe inside someone's private home, with all the windows closed, so that no smoke could escape. Okay, I'll get off my soap box now.
Those are great looking Veggies..
Wow, those are some nice looking vegetables.
I love Farmer's Market's! Although I also wouldn't have bought anything from the guys table where he was smoking!!! YUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!
There are several farmers markets around here too that we like to frequent.
Your veggies are lovely. Those red peppers are gorgeous and look so yummy. They're my favorite in the bell pepper family.
And I must say I can not blame you for not buying veggies from that man....EWWWWW!

Did you know that you can wash vegetables after you get them home? Perhaps he is so severely addicted that he couldn't help himself. As a former smoker, i can tell you that quitting is one of the hardest things I've ever done. You should have more compassion for other people. That's something I learned from the bible.
a beautiful sight of veggies. Powerful colors, looks like a work of art........
