Last night I went to a Pampered Chef party, held at a fellow church-member's home. I thouroughly enjoyed myself! I've never been to a PC party before, nor have I looked at their catalog.
I think I would be content to have nearly all their utensils, cookware, gadgets, knives, etc.! I haven't purchased anything yet, but I am considering their spatulas and garlic press. Those two items stood out to me as something that I would use all the time.
The PC gal said that if we wanted, we could write down a "wish list" and our birth date, give her the names of our friends/family, and she would call them and tell them what we wanted. Hmmm, I'll stick to just wishing!
How about you? Do you like PC? Even though everything is expensive, it sounds like their products are long-lasting, with great warranties. I know Mrs. R enjoys the can opener!

I looooooove Pampered Chef. My favorite things from PC are my hand held can opener, ice cream scooper (AWESOME!!), the chilzane deviled egg keeper, double sided rolling pin, and round baking stone. I have the cookie press, but haven't mastered it yet. I will though...eventually. Whatever you purchase from PC, I'm sure you'll love, enjoy, and appreciate it. And their parties are so much fun, aren't they? Glad you had fun!
BTW, their products are a little expensive, but I always buy my things by keeping up with the hostess gifts to see if I'll like what they're offering that month and earning my discounts by giving parties.
Hi Tammy!
My name is Candi, I love love love pampered chef products. I have "a lot" of thier items. I have been going to thier parties for probably about 8 or 9 years now. There isn't much I don't have. I love the garlic press too, and have the spatula's. I love the cooking stones, ice cream scoop, spreading knife, etc... I use "almost" everything on a regular basis that I have bought over the years.
Hi Tammy, my name is Amelia and I have been looking on your site for couple of weeks now and really enjoy it. Not to take away any money from pampered chef but I know you want to save money. I have a little tip for cutting garlic and its really easy. All you have to do is smash the clove with a big chef knife and that loosens the outside. Take that part off and then just chop up the garlic as fine as you like. It is easy and cheap and no cleaning out a little gadget. Hope that helps your decision.
My favorite PC things are the large pizza stone (on which I bake perfect cookies), the spatulas (no more orange-stained ones for me, and you won't accidently cook your spatula into a weird shape), and the sandwich spreader. Because my life is all about sandwiches for lunch! :)
Oh, I forgot about the measuring cup that you can push out the stuff. I use that all the time for crisco when making frosting.
A. takes the approach: "You can get the same thing at Target for 75% less!" ;) ah yes, but does it have a WARRANTY? :)
I have found that PC products are much better quality than what you will find most other places. Some of my favorites have already been mentioned: garlic press, stir and scrape spatulas. I haven't been able to develop into a fan of stones for baking cookies, but I have the stone that makes four small loaves of bread and I LOVE that! I also really like the digital thermometer that can measure meat in the oven while it is cooking. I use that all the time and no more wondering about internal temps of meats! I really like their cutting boards and have a big one and a small one. Use those every day. I also have the larger batter bowl and like that as well - use it all the time. And I really like the apple peeler.
A couple of things I haven't liked... The little wooden thing that is supposed to press the dough down for tartlets. I find the dough sticks and it is easier to do it by hand. I'm also not really impressed by the chopper. It is very nice, but it does not chop things to a uniform size.
Just my two cents!
For some it's Tupperware or Partylite, or Mary Kay or Longaberger or Creative Memories. For me- the home show I like to go to is Pampered Chef. It's a party where you are guarenteed yummy food! I love Pampered Chef and yes it is expensive- the cookware is outrageous! I am in love with the stoneware. My large round and rectangular stones are stored in my oven for easy accessability- as I use them for just about everything! They don't kid you when they say that cookies won't burn! I have the garlic press too- have to say I would probably omit the garlic from my recipes if it wasn't for this nifty gadget. The rubber spatulas don't stain- no kidding and are so handy! I have many other products- some I am ashamed to admit I find I don't use as often- not as time saving as I thought. Besides the stoneware- I love the handy chopper, apple-peeler-corer-slicer,and the oil spritzer. My hubby just had me purchase him the new basting brush- the one you can add your sauce to in the end . . . . He loves it- easy to clean too.
Enjoy!
Hi Tammy, I think it's Mrs. R who liked the can opener.....I don't have one. (o:
I love my chopper and garlic press. It comes with a tool that makes it easy to clean. I LOVE my round pizza size baking stone. I make biscuits and cookies on it too....no burnt bottoms.
This post was helpful to me because a lady from church had a PC party and I was unable to attend but I'm still going to buy a few things....it was nice to read what everyone likes and why.

Tammy, I have known about Pampered Chef for years and used to love going to the parties.
If you can have one thing, the chopper is wonderful. I love it and use it often. Their stones are great also.
If I could warn you of one thing, the sliding measuring spoons are not all they're measured up to be. he he :0)
I've heard of the Pampered Chef parties and products but have never been to a party. I have a can opener and ice cream scoop that are Tupperware and someone told me that they are similar to the Pampered Chef products of those. I love my Tupperware utensils and things I've gotten. I haven't bought much of any of it. My best friend sold it for a time and when she got out of it she sent me three large boxes of Tupperware. I love it all!! I'm sure I'd love PC products too from what I've heard.
My husband and I received PC's serrated bread knife and quick-stir pitcher as wedding gifts, and we use them both EVERY DAY. I have never had a better knife. It's great for bread, onions, nuts, meat, you name it. Even though we have a whole drawer full of knives in our kitchen, I find myself washing and re-washing the serrated bread knife because it's the only one that gets the job done satisfactorily.
The carafe of the quick-stir pitcher cracked after about a year of use (our fault; I think we dropped it on the floor), but we found that the plunger fit perfectly in another cheap, standard-sized plastic pitcher we had. My husband is a big orange juice drinker. It's so much easier to be motivated to mix up a can of juice when the plunger does most of the work for you. :-)
Sounds like lots of pleased PC users! Here's another one...we love Pampered Chef and have tons of different items from them. I always love going to the parties because you can pick up some new recipes. We use the ham/broccoli ring recipe demonstrated at one of the parties (in the PC medium baker pan) ALL the time. It's been a keeper.
Let us know if you buy anything! :)
Wow, a lot of pampered chefs out there! ;-)
Thanks for all your favorites, I still haven't had a chance to sit down with my catalog and make my selections. =)
I lvoe PC too! One thing I could not live without is my food chopper. That is my favorite.
I also have their cookware. I bought it half price with a party I had. And while it was still expensive. I think good cookware is. And I"ve bought enough cheap cookware even some of the higher name brands were icky. I think you can do anything with this cookware and it still looks nice! And it cooks wonderful.
I also love thier stones. I wouldnt cook cookies or anything else on another cookie sheet again.....
I also have had many PC parties to get these things for free.
I love their garlic press. Mine is still going strong after many years. Have fun deciding what to get!
I really enjoy PC too. I have lots of their stuff and my only complaint is that my stoneware seems to crack more easily than it should..I am probably hard on mine though. I LOVE everything they have. I have been a customer for 7 years or so and have everything still except for a piece of stoneware or two :-)
