~Organizing~
Tonight I'm working on an organizing project. My pictures! Each time I download pictures, the program I use creates a folder for each and every day. So I have gobs, yes, "gobs" of folders. Finding a picture is a nightmare! I have all of 2007 finished! It only took me an hour or so! I think I'll pick up this project another day!

Oh my I know what you mean. My files are just like that as well. I haven't attempted to organize them yet though. Good luck.
Oh, I have this problem, too. Lots and LOTS of photos in lots of different folders. I know it's time consuming to get them organized... but worth it.

You can download and use for free Adobe Photoshop Album. Everytime you download pictures from your camera you get a choice of where you want the picture to be stored and what to name the picture. The program also has some simple cool features that can help you format the picture.

I've got to do this too. Do you use Kodak Easy Share software (because my program does the same thing you are describing). I am months behind on photos.
Ugh ~ I 've got to do the same thing. I'm ignoring it right now because [based on things I've learned from my children] if I pretend the work isn't there I don't have to do it! Right? ;o)
