The spider was provided protective color from God. That spider was more scared of you than you were of it. I guess living in a house with dirt floor in basement and having lived in Panama most little creatures don't shake me.
Oh, I do not like spiders in the least bit, but this one was quite interesting to me (as long as it stayed OFF me!). I only saw it because it was running across the sand. I think it is totally amazing that the spider looks like sand!
Now how can anyone look at something like that and deny a Creator?
Thank you so much for stopping by! I am a daughter of the King, wife to Kevin for 12 years, and mama to my adorable, three-year old daughter and a wee baby in Heaven. I love to cook, read, crochet, knit, sew, and pursue other crafts as I become interested in them! This blog is my outlet to share about my interests.

Oh yuck - now I won't be able to sleep! I hate creepy crawlies.
ICK!! Good thing you spied it before you stepped on it!

Amazing camo! Just don't make me squish it! I'd rather have one crawl on me. (Well, the non-poisenous ones anyway!)
Yuck yuck yuck. I detest spiders. And they are everywhere in my house. My hubby says they are harmless, but I say "Kill em!"

Cool picture! How big was it? Dime-sized? Nickel? Eeek, Quarter?
I would say somewhere near nickel size!
