I've determined that I need/use the full-sized ones, because it's my tops that always get nailed with whatever goo I am preparing!!
So I am blessed to have a chicken apron, an olives apron (for obvious personal reasons), and my favorite made by Carol N: a reversible dragonfly/frog in bright green and turquoise.
Kim, I do not know of free apron pattern online. The patterns from the sewing store come in multiple sizes, with the exception of some of the retro patterns. There are so many apron patterns to choose from.
Rona, yes, I did make this!
Anne, the aprons you have sound cute! It took me a minute to figure out why the olive one was so obvious. LOL

I would like to make myself one - but am plus sized and not sure if I will be able to find an applicable pattern.
