Your flowers are so pretty Tammy! I have exactly the same ones blooming in my yard right now. I picked both of those (tulips and grape hyacinth), as well as regular white hyacinth and yellow tulips and put them in an old mason jar on the table... they're so cheery and pretty and they liven up the diningroom! I love bringing beautiful spring indoors.

Stunning! It's a wonderful thing about blogging - I feel like I get to experience spring twice! :o)

So nice to finally get some relief from winter. I really like your grape hyacinths too. They contrast really well with your tulips.

From art with the kids I know it's because they're complementary colors on the color wheel....but aside from that, it just looks plain old good to me. :)

Thank you! I didn't realize the purple flowers were called grape hyacinths! The package just said "Muscari" but when I googled it, both names were for the same flowers!

hmm have never heard that name for the flowers... maybe the scientific name..?

I love your pictures. These would make terrific postcards or a beautiful scrapbook page.
