Well, I've seen the "Six Weird Things About Me" meme floating about, and thought I was successful at avoiding it. I was, for a while! LOL (Just kidding, Mrs. B)
So anyhow, the challenge for me is to come up with six things that are kind of different but not *too* weird. I try to be a normal gal!
Here goes:
1. I have this thing with hanging clothes in the closets. I've always hung my husband's dress shirts in color, from lightest to darkest. Always. And then, if you take a peek in my closet, I have my clothes arranged in my own special way too. From left to right: shells, vests, blouses, cardigans, pull over sweaters, skirts, jumpers, and then dresses. And if that isn't enough, within each category they are arranged from left to right from dressiest to most casual. I like it this way. And yes, I sometimes stand in front of my closet and befuddle my husband by saying, "I have nothing to wear!"
2. I have always held my middle name as something a bit personal. Somehow my husband wrested the information when he was still in the getting-to-know-you stage. He got a lot of information out of me. I still don't know how he did it! LOL
3. I talk to myself. If I'm frustrated with something I've done, I scold myself. First and middle name.
4. I like to make lists. But I hate to have items crossed out in the middle of the lists. So sometimes I'll write the list over, just so the crossed out stuff isn't part of the list. Another way I write lists is to write it as accomplishments rather than things to do.
5. When I have a project to do, I think about it before I go to sleep at night. I lay in bed and mentally work through it. When I go to do the project I have it all figured out.
6. I always spell "weird" as "wierd" and then realize I've misspelled it.

Ok, I thought I was the only person who couldn't stand to cross out things in the middle of a list. I too have re-written my lists so my crossed-off things are at the beginning! You are not alone.
Ahhhh, another list-lover! I thought I was the only one who loved to write lists just to cross things off; I'm so glad I'm not alone in this! :P
Mrs. Huckabay, how funny! I'm glad I'm not alone in my weirdness. LOL =)
Arlene! It's nice to see you back! =)
I do #5 too. Another thing I do when I'm too keyed up to sleep is I knit in my head. For some reason it relaxes me and I go right to sleep.
I'm a long time reader but I think I've only commented once. Rona's question about knitting the other day prompted me to make a comment. :-)
I would say you are pretty normal Tammy! Not too much weirdness going on with you. : )
Ha Ha Tammy, I got you! (o;
Your list is pretty normal. I really liked your idea writing out what you've done, not just what needs to be done!
And it seems like a great many ladies in blogland seem to talk to themselves quite a bit. (o:
Thanks for taking part!
Tammy,
I too do my closets just like you, it makes things much better. I also have all of the fronts of the shirts facing the same way, I'm sure you do too, there's probably no way you could stand it any differently. I also talk to myself, but not with first and middle names. What's funny is my daughter who is deaf...signs to herself. That is quite humorous to watch.
I love my lists, but don't mind scratching them off in any order...though I do try to write them in the order they will be done.
I also do the same with weird... pretty weird, huh?
Gina, thanks for commenting!
LOL Mrs. B!
Lora, I think that is so precious, your daughter signing to herself!
LOL!!! You have two problems that I have as well. I talk to myself and also scold myself at times...my kids think that is just the weirdest thing ever!! And I always spell weird wrong and realize it is wrong after I spell it. Afterall...isn't it a rule that "i" goes before "e" except after "c"? That rule sure doesn't apply here does it?
