Titus Two Ladies Talk, Part 2

*If possible, the wife and mother should stay at home and raise the children.
*Don’t show favoritism.
*Do reward your children for their special efforts.
*Don’t forget to be a body busy instead of a busybody in the neighborhood. “And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.” (1 Timothy 5:13)
*Show by your example that following Christ is everything. “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21)
—Pat, Married 52 years

*When you marry, you promise before God your commitment is “for better or for worse, in sickness and in health.”
*Never go to bed angry.
*Never quarrel with your husband in front of the children.
*Find time for you and your husband alone.
*Let your children see the love between you.
*Go to church with your children.
*Read the Bible daily.
—Sue, Married 59 years
