Mr. Hummy! Yes, that's right--I already have my hummingbird named! I was sitting out on our front porch talking on the phone and who should fly up? Mr. Hummy, of course! He doesn't know that I'm his friend, so he was a little afraid to come up and get his food. But I'm sure he and his buddies, and all their wives will get used to me. Can you tell I'm excited? *Grin*
Pictured is my feeder, waiting for lots and lots of Mr. and Mrs. Hummy visits!
God created so many different, very interesting birds! I love to watch birds, and I'm so thankful that the hummingbirds are being attracted to my feeder!

I absolutely love hummingbirds!! We had several that frequented our feeder at our other house. We don't get any here. I've tried...I put my feeder out and waited and waited but none have come yet. I think having an interstate highway running parallel to our property deters them away. I sure do miss seeing them though.
I love hummingbirds too but sad to say I haven't seen very many this year. )o:
Last year I saw tons of them....I wonder if I put my feeder out too late this year.
I'm glad that you saw your first visitor. I'm sure he'll be back!

I love to watch hummingbirds, there's just something about them.
I haven't seen one in real life for 8 years and that was in New Mexico.
Enjoy the and God!
We love watching for birds, too.
We haven't been fortuneate enough to have any hummingbirds, yet. But we love watching our red-headed woodpecker in the backyard!
Thank you for the kind comment you left at my blog. I appreciated it!

You are just toooo lucky to have humming birds. Kind of beats the sparrows we get! Although my naughty puddy-tat would no doubt upset me by eating them.
