~Two Projects Finished!~

After much procrastination on my part, I have finally finished two projects!

Capri-length pajama pants for one of my sisters:

and a nightgown for another sister (the project I started on Monday).

But...shhhhh...don't tell them they're finished! ;-)

Just for kicks, here's a picture of my messy sewing room. I'm messy when I sew!

I love the bright material you chose for the night pants.

I can't wait to be able to sew like you. I'm just a rookie. The only garments I have made were skirts and cullotes. I'm going online to look for some patterns. Hope they get here soon.

Oh yea I'm messy when I sew too. :0)

Tammy, dear, you don't know what messy is. Your sewing room looks quite neat in comparison to mine, lol! The garments look nice, by the way!

LOL Ruth! Trust me, my sewing room has been much, much worse after a sewing project! =)

Those are really nice. How I wish I could sew. I tried on my moms machine which looks exactly like yours for home ec class in Jr high & the dress I made turned out to look so pitifil. But I wore it to church anyway lol. My aunt helped me make a nice pant set. Bell bottom pants & cute matching top. She wound up doing all the work & me watching cuz I couldn't figure it out. I can sew on buttons & sew some by hand like to hem stuff or fix seams that came loose but it looks on the underside like a little kid did it lol.

I just recently sewed up some seams that came loose on some stuff like slacks & a jacket & sewed a ruffle by hand on a dress that was getting a little short & making my slip try to show. Those of you who can sew are so blessed... :)

Great job!
I really like the nightgown.
My girls are in desperate need of nightgowns and I really should get around to making them some. Did you use a particular pattern?

We've been having fun sewing over here, too. Keeper2Be just finished her jumper so I'll be ordering the pattern she's wanting. And I'm about to begin matching jumpers/dresses for us girls in the family. Fun, fun, fun!
