If you've been reading my blog long, you already know that I am totally enthralled with my garden this year. I am enjoying the plants that the Lord made as part of His creation, and rejoicing that He has allowed me to grow them in my yard!
Kevin snapped this picture the other night when I went out to pick green beans:
And guess what? My very first tomato!!!

Congratulations on your first tomato! What a pretty one too! YOur pink flowers have spread out so nicely! You can really see them from the street.

Your yard is so beautiful!!
It's a beaute! What do you think you'll do with it, recipe-wise? BLTs, maybe? mmmmmm :d
Your garden looks great, Tammy! I've been excited for you, too. We are getting some good-looking tomatoes now, too..yummy! And we just pulled our first beets. I grew up loving beets, and now we have our own garden ones! I think it is SO neat to run out to the garden and come in with food! How special.
I looked at the photo of your home and the one in your blog header...the pink flowers make it complete...:o)
I absolutely adore your house! How cute!
Nice pictures~BEAUTIFUL home!
I was so excited about my tomato, and I haven't eaten it yet! I think I shall eat it now! :D I love tomatoes with freshly ground pepper on them! Yum!
Tammy,
Sorry to comment on such an old post but it popped up in my Bloglines and I wanted to ask you something.
What side of the house did you plant your garden (N,S,E,W)? We have a South facing home and I am interested in getting started with gardening, but I am nervous about planting something in the wrong place.
Thanks,
Rean Day
Rean, my garden is on the south side of the house, with west exposure as well.
